I have a strict “trust no bitch” mentality when it comes to a guy’s opinion on what women should wear so I think this is kinda… lame, tbh.

Also, I don’t like the idea of someone 1.) dictating what I’m going to wear and 2.) dictating what i will be doing with my free time. Go kick rocks.

I mean, surprises are nice. Like, “SURPRISE! I got us reservations at that restaurant you love! Let’s dress up and have fun!”
This just seems mildly creepy to me and I don’t think I would appreciate it when I got home from work.
Im all about being a feminist, but if my boy did this for me I would be blushing like a school girl. I mean it would mean that he thought of me, knows my size, and knows what i like. I like being an independent woman but this is a cute gift!
So on October 2nd, 2011 Madison, WI held its 41st Harvest Fest was held. This was my first year going. But basically, it meant that anyone that wanted to met on State Street to parade up to the capital WHILE SMOKING AS MUCH POT AS POSSIBLE. Once we reached the capital, there were speakers and advocates for medical marijuana. And everyone smoked on the capital stairs. People always seem shocked when they hear that you can legally smoke pot in public, especially in the state’s capital. There were well over a 1000 people that participated, and that is an understatement. I couldn’t believe my eyes. People were coming together and standing for what they believed in. It was so touching. And it wasn’t just teens smoking pot, there were ages ranging from 16 and up. I saw 50 and 60 year old cancer survivors that marched with their head held high, hahaha no pun intended. Just to let you know, there were about 7 police that I could see that were watching over the crowds. Basically, they were there looking for the people with book bags selling and people getting out of hand. But they never needed to step in.
The most shocking thing in the world was, there was NO MEDIA COVERAGE! You think news stations would be all over it. But of course no one wants to be affiliated with pot. What’s wrong with this. Obviously nothing is getting passed unless there is coverage and information out there. There should of been every new station there in Wisconsin, but no! THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE.
If a city can stand together, then what’s stopping the country. People have a right to medication and options. I didn’t see any overdoses in progress, which is impossible unlike the million of overdoses on heroin just this year!
Stand up for what you believe in. Change will not happen without help.
Come next year! It’s always the first weekend of October!
